Festus Keyamo, the spokesperson of the All Progressives Council (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) on Thursday said the main opposition, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), “lied” to its supporters about the North betraying Bola Tinubu at the last minute.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) who is also the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, criticised the PDP for ‘deceit’.
In the past few months, in order to keep hopes alive, the PDP lied to its supporters that there would be a last-minute betrayal of @officialABAT by the Northern APC Govs. and stakeholders who would defect en masse to PDP. 48 hours to voting, we’re still waiting for the ‘betrayal’

This newspaper reports that the general elections will be held in Nigeria on February 25 to elect the President and Vice President and members of the Senate and House of Representatives. The Northern APC governors still show support for Tinubu.
