On September 10, 2025, Charlie Kirk was shot and killed during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University. He was speaking on stage when a gunman opened fire from a rooftop near the venue.
Authorities later arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, a Utah native, in connection with the killing. Reports say Robinson, who came from a conservative family, had recently expressed frustration with Kirk, accusing him of “spreading hate.”
