The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially begun the sale of expression of interest and nomination forms for its ward, local government, state congresses, and national convention.
The announcement was made in a notice signed by Pa Idigo, the party’s national organising secretary and shared via X on Sunday.
At the ward level, the expression of interest form costs N2,000, while nomination fees are N10,000 for ward chairman, N5,000 for ward secretary, and n3,000 for other ward officers.
At the local government level, LGA chairman forms cost N40,000, LGA Secretary N30,000, and other LGA officers N10,000 each.
For state-level positions, state chairman forms are N500,000, state secretary n300,000, and other state officers N50,000 each.
Idigo outlined the nomination requirements: “candidates for ward chairman must have 10 nominators, while other ward officers need five each. state chairman candidates must obtain 50 nominators from across the state, with at least one from each LGA, and other state officers require 20 nominators each.”
According to the ADC timetable, polling unit and ward congresses will hold on 7th April, local government congresses on 9th April, state congresses on 11th April, and the National Convention on 14th April.

“The sale and submission of the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms will close on Friday, 27th March 2026. No late submissions will be accepted.
“Screening is scheduled for 30th to 31st March 2026. All aspirants are advised to comply strictly with these guidelines and the published guidelines for the congresses,” the notice added.
