The two men who violently violated and unalifed nursing student Chinwendu “Wendy” Achumba have been arrested. According to community and police sources, the suspects (one of whom is a local vulcanizer) were tracked down after the brutal attack on the young student in her off‑campus lodge in Umuadara, Umulogho, Obowo LGA of Imo State.…....
Investigators say one of the men had earlier made unwanted advances toward Wendy, and after she rejected him, he allegedly returned with an accomplice, assaulted her, Graped her, and unalifed her when she recognised him.
Their arrest followed swift action by residents and security operatives, who apprehended the pair and handed them over to authorities. Both suspects have reportedly confessed and are now in police custody in Owerri as the investigation continues.
