A fresh legal storm is brewing in Abuja as the wife of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, Mrs. Aichatou El-Rufai, has threatened a massive ₦2 billion lawsuit against the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
The development follows a controversial ICPC press statement issued on May 18, 2026, which the former first lady claims damaged her reputation and subjected her to public embarrassment.
