During a recent conversation with online streamer DavrelTV, Davido gave fans more insight into the ambitious project, revealing that the mansion would rise four floors above the basement level and would also feature rooms for all his children.
“So we are going four floors up after this basement, then the top floor is penthouse. All my kids have their rooms,” the singer explained.
Davido also disclosed that his wife, Chioma Rowland, will have an entire floor specially designed to match her style and preferences.
Speaking further, the “Unavailable” crooner revealed that he purchased the land for about N4 billion, but its value has now appreciated significantly to N8billion.
“I came here when I first bought the house. I bought the land for like N4billion, the land is now worth N8billion now,” Davido stated.
The singer added that the building is expected to become fully visible by December, noting that he intends to spend heavily on the interior decoration and finishing, which he described as the most important part of the project.
When asked how involved he is in the day-to-day construction activities, Davido revealed that he personally visits the site occasionally to monitor progress on the development.
