Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has said President Bola Tinubu will tackle Nigeria’s insecurity challenges within the next four years if given another term in office.
Umahi made the statement on Saturday at Umunaga Ward in his Uburu hometown, Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, during the All Progressives Congress presidential primary election. “Bola Tinubu is the Biafra we have been looking for. A man who has integrated the entire South-East, given us juicy appointments and very important infrastructure,” Umahi said. He argued that the president’s policies had stabilized the economy despite initial hardship caused by reforms.
On security, Umahi expressed confidence that Tinubu’s administration has the strategy and political will to address the country’s challenges with banditry, kidnapping, and insurgency. He urged Nigerians to give the president time and another mandate to consolidate on ongoing efforts, saying results would become more visible in the next four years.
Umahi also dismissed criticism of the administration’s economic reforms, saying no one had convincingly explained where Nigeria would be today without them. He maintained that the reforms, though painful at first, had created a foundation for stability and growth…See More
