The middle-aged man’s lifeless body was found in a brothel in the Edepie neighborhood of Yenagoa, the state capital, according to Bayelsa State police.
The unidentified man was discovered dead on Tuesday at the brothel where he supposedly slept with a commercial sex worker, which is situated along the Tombia-Amassoma road.
The 38-year-old guy from Delta State who passed away was reportedly recovering from a stroke.
On that fatal day, he was reported to have left his house at around eight in the morning to spend some time at the brothel outside of Yenagoa, the state capital, when the unexpected occurred.

“An average man of about 38 years old was found dead naked in one of the rooms in a brothel along the Tombia-Amassoma road, Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa State,” the caller said in a distress call to the command, he stated.
“Ekeki Patrol, led by the DPO, was sent by the control room to the crime scene right away. When they got there, they found the subject on the bed, dead. Before the police team arrived, every resident of the brothel left.
“The deceased body was removed and placed in the Federal Medical Center, Yenagoa morgue for an autopsy.
“A preliminary inquiry is being conducted to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.”
