- Controversial Nigerian standup comedian Seyi Law has reacted to a recent post of Mr Macaroni’s where the skit maker ranted about how he was humiliated by the government, hence losing respect for it.
- The comedian mocked Lagos state governor for acting like he doesn’t know him, yet he reportedly begs Mr Macaroni for a handshake.
Controversial comedian, Oluwaseyitan Aletile, also known as Seyi Law, has mocked Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, after skit maker Adebowale Debo Adedayo better known as Mr Macaroni vowed to continue snubbing him.
Recall Mr Macaroni recently sparked mixed reactions after declaring that he would continue to snub Sanwo-Olu while responding to an X user who called him out for snubbing the governor. Mr Macaroni wrote on social media:
“I will continue to snub your Governor. He doesn’t mean anything to me, neither do you or your father. I love that you slaves bring this issue up all the time.
“For every time you do, I will send you to your masters.”
Giving reason for his decision, Mr Macaroni further explained that he can never mingle with the government that “stripped me naked, beat, tortured, brutalized and dehumanized me.”
Recounting his personal experience in detention, he said he was told by the police to “stop disturbing the governor.”
Reacting, Seyi Law stated that Mr Macaroni is not to blame, emphasising that Sanwo-Olu pretends not to recognize him whenever they meet, yet he requests handshake from Mr Macaroni. On his official X handle, the standup comedian wrote:
“Nobody should blame Macaroni for the way he speaks to Gov. @jidesanwoolu. Gov. BOS will see me and act like he doesn’t know me, but he will be begging Macaroni for a handshake. Everybody get out.”
