The grim sequence of events began when Ajayi was arrested in Nasarawa after being caught with the severed head of his girlfriend concealed in a polythene bag.
Security operatives, acting on a tip-off, traced him to an uncompleted building in Agwan Sarki, Orozo, near the Federal Capital Territory, where they made the shocking discovery.
The arrest peeled back the layers of a crime so vile it has left a permanent scar on the collective conscience.
During interrogation, Ajayi confessed to the murder, revealing chilling details that have horrified the public. He admitted to dating Adaidu for over a year before the tragic incident, claiming that a heated argument escalated when she allegedly attempted to stab him.
What followed was a moment of unthinkable brutality: a young woman’s life extinguished, her body desecrated, and her remains treated with a level of disregard that defies comprehension.
Ajayi, who released his album ‘God of the Earth’ in 2020, also revealed that the rest of the victim’s body was at his residence.
