- The Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has declared Portable wanted over allegations of a violent attack on state government officials carrying out lawful duties.
- It stated that a valid court order had been issued for his arrest and presentation at any police station.
- Reacting to the report, Portable reaffirmed his innocence from his hideout, in a series of posts on his Instagram story.
Nigerian singer Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, better known as Portable, has reacted after he was declared wanted by the police over alleged assault of Ogun state government officials.
WITHIN NIGERIA earlier reported that Portable had been declared wanted by the Ogun state police command. He was accused of attempted murder, conspiracy and some other offences.
Reacting in a series of posts on his Instagram story after the news about the warrant of arrest broke out, the controversial singer reaffirmed his innocence.
Portable charged the Police to provide evidence of assault against said officials, while stating that he did not kill anyone.
The Zeh Nation boss who is still in hiding asserted that if anything happened to him, it would be a big problem.
Seemingly fed up, Portable labelled his supposed detractors as evil, the 31-year-old asked why they wanted to defame and destroy his glory. He wrote:
“I no kill person I no fit Run from God if anything
happen to me na Big Wahala make them post where we fight them for my bar make them post evidence say I fight them evil people them lie against us God never Die
ZAZUU God dey where I dey 🙏.”
“ZAzuu
I no dey go where them no love me kuku kill me make everywhere scatter……”
“Why them won disgrace my glory wetin una won gain from evil my glory go kill my enemy 🙏 🙏 🙏.”
Portable’s clash with the Ogun state government has dragged on for about two weeks, but in the heat of the assault allegation, a few people begged on his behalf. Portable’s first wife, Bewaji, pleaded and asked that the government should consider his children and forgive him.
The singer’s sister also appealed to the public, claiming her brother is under a spell, hence his errant behavior.
