Currently participating in Euro 2024, the 21-year-old forward helped Holland defeat Poland 2-1 on Sunday. L’Equipe reports that United has reached out to Paris Saint-Germain on the possibility of signing Xavi Simons.
In addition, PSG has been approached by Arsenal and Bayern Munich to sign the young player.
According to reports, PSG is unwilling to let Simon leave on a permanent transfer, as most of any transfer fee this summer would go to PSV.
Simon returned to PSG in 2023 after the French side triggered a reported €6 million buy-back clause in his PSV contract. However, Simon’s agreement to return to PSG from PSV reportedly includes a clause that allows PSV to collect most of the profits from any sale before January 2025.
Simons impressed while on loan at German side RB Leipzig last season, scoring 10 goals and providing 15 assists in all competitions last season.
