Ambassador Babagana Kingibe, Special Envoy of the Summit of the Heads of State and Governments of the Lake Chad Basin Commission, has praised the efforts of Transitional Authorities, Chadian citizens, and allies for their contributions towards peacefully establishing a democratic constitutional order as Chad prepares for its crucial May 6, 2024, presidential election.
Ambassador Kingibe and his group have been actively involved in assisting Chad’s Transition process since May 2021.

As Chad approaches the final stages of its transition journey, Ambassador Kingibe reiterated the unwavering support of the Lake Chad Basin Commission’s Leaders.
He expressed optimism for Chad’s future, anticipating the peaceful inauguration of a new democratic constitutional order in the country.
