While the actress affirms talent as number one, key, Jennifer states that beauty, as esoteric as it seems, plays a huge role in paving the way to the spotlight in the industry.

Jennifer told Potpourri, “I think beauty is relevant, especially in the industry I belong to. Believe it or not, the thing called “Beauty privilege” is real, it can take you places. It draws people to you and then it’s left for you to use that attention or platform well.

“Many women in the industry got their breaks on account of their beauty. In fact, some roles simply require the character to be beautiful. Beauty helps a lot. It matters in Nollywood, and probably in other areas of life.”
Jennifer, who dumped her banking job to pursue her love for acting, says life has taught her to believe in the power of networking, as it has come handy for her on several occasions.
“Life has taught me that we win some and we lose some. But most importantly, networking is key. The gift of men is really underrated, we all need people in our corner, no matter who we are. I mean people that are relevant to our dreams and ambitions,” she said.
