The co-founder and senior pastor of Nairobi’s Jubilee Christian Church (JCC), Bishop Allan Kiuna, passed suddenly.
A family representative stated that on Tuesday, as his condition deteriorated, he passed away in a Nairobi hospital where he had been taken.
Following the news of his passing, family and friends gathered at his Runda home.

Kiuna was married to Bishop Kathy Kiuna, also of JCC. His death has been widely mourned, with many describing him as a dedicated and inspirational leader.
In 2019, Bishop Allan Kiuna publicly shared his struggle with cancer, expressing his gratitude to God for helping him endure the difficult journey.
Jubilee Christian Church was established in January 1999 by Bishop Kiuna and his wife, Reverend Kathy, who envisioned creating a vibrant faith community. His legacy continues through the lives he touched and the church he helped build.
President William Ruto has joined the nation in mourning the founder of the Jubilee Christian Church Bishop Allan Kiuna.
In a message of condolence on Wednesday, Ruto described Kiuna as a “dedicated Christian leader”.
He stated that Kiuna inspired many to follow the teachings of the Lord.
“To his wife, Rev. Kathy Kiuna and family we stand with you in this time of grief and mourning, and pray that you find the courage to persevere through this trying period,” Ruto said.
“May he rest in peace”.
