Grammy-winning artiste, Burna Boy has made good on his promise to support Bethel Okechukwu, a man who claimed to be the brother of socialite Cubana Chief Priest.
The singer amid his feud with Cubana Chief Priest had posted a video of Okechukwu, who is struggling to make ends meet as a phone repairer in Alaba market, and offered to give him $30,000.
In a heartwarming turn of events, Burna Boy has now fulfilled his promise, and Okechukwu has taken to social media to express his gratitude.
In a series of Instagram posts, Okechukwu shared videos of himself with Burna Boy, thanking him for his kindness and generosity. In one of the videos, Okechukwu is seen kneeling down and thanking Burna Boy for improving his life. He also promised to show Burna Boy the shop he would establish with the money; an idea the singer welcomed.
He also called on Nigerians to join him in appreciating the singer for his good deed.
Okechukwu’s posts were filled with emotion and sincerity, as he praised Burna Boy for pulling him out of poverty.
