The immediate past governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Bayelsa State, Engr. Udengs Eradiri, has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing the positive impact of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government in his community.
Eradiri, who registered at Ward 10, Constituency 2, Yenagoa, highlighted several projects initiated by the President through the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), including potable water, shore protection, solar lights, and a one-kilometre road in his Agudiama/Ekpetiama community.
The former LP candidate commended Tinubu’s government for its commitment to the region, noting that almost all communities in the Niger Delta had benefited from the NDDC’s interventionist programmes. He also praised the establishment of the Maritime University and University of Technology and Environment in Ogoni, which he believes will foster lasting peace and development.
Eradiri expressed confidence in the APC’s role in transforming the region, citing the government’s support for the Tantita Security Services and the reduction of crime in the Niger Delta.
In his speech, Eradiri, who was warmly received by APC supporters, vowed to work with party stakeholders to strengthen the APC in Bayelsa and nationwide, underscoring the leadership qualities of President Tinubu.
