Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has assured the public that he would never intentionally violate any law.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that this comes after his detention by the United Kingdom (UK) Immigration.
Speaking at the LP National Executive Council (NEC) meeting in Asaba, Delta State on Tuesday, Obi emphasized that he was not intimidated by the falsehoods and propaganda being spread against him.
In his words: “I have always lived my life in the most law-abiding manner possible. Sometimes, as humans, we make mistakes, but I will never knowingly break any law.
“I am, therefore, not afraid of the lies and propaganda against my person, which are part of the journey to a New Nigeria.”
Obi went on to urge Nigerians to remain steadfast and composed in their efforts to reclaim their mandate.
He emphasized that he remained undaunted by any obstacles in his quest to bring about a new Nigeria.
