Festus Keyamo (SAN), the official spokesperson for Campaign Council of the President-Elect, Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday said he is “excited” about the issues raised in the case filed by the opposition at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar has approached the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
Atiku is contesting Tinubu’s declaration as president-elect.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Labour Party and its flag bearer, Peter Obi, had similarly filed a petition at the tribunal in Abuja.
Reacting, Keyamo, who is also the Minister of State, Labour and Employment, took a swipe at the opposition candidates, their campaign council members, and supporters.
He wrote on his verified Twitter handle: “I am excited about the issues raised in those Election Petitions. All the deceit & lies & disinformation & misinformation about otherwise very simple and clear issues are about to be busted by our Law Lords. Whoever continues to argue after that should relocate to another planet.
“Nigerians will finally see the huge difference b/w calm, dispassionate adjudication of issues & all the hoopla caused by garrulous spokespersons shaking & falling on stage, ignorant TV hosts turned debaters, misinformed documentaries, illiterate tweeps and some dancing Hijabi mamas.”
