In a notification to its clientele, the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company Plc (EEDC) declared: “EEDC would like to apprise her valued patrons of a nationwide grid failure that transpired at 15:09 hours on July 6, 2024.
The breakdown of Nigeria’s national power infrastructure has left EVERY region of the country in complete darkness.
Customers have received an apology from the distribution firms (DisCos) for not being able to supply electricity.
In a notification to its clientele, the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company Plc (EEDC) declared: “EEDC would like to apprise her valued patrons of a nationwide grid failure that transpired at 15:09 hours on July 6, 2024.
The loss of supply that the network is currently experiencing is the outcome of this.
“Due to this development, all our interface TCN stations are out of supply, and we are unable to provide services to our customers in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo States.
“We are on standby awaiting detailed information of the (national grid) collapse and restoration of supply from the National Control Centre (NCC), Osogbo.”
