- Meek Mill made it clear in a video that he’s no longer associating with Diddy by saying the “No Diddy” catchphrase.
- A fan had bumped into Meek Mill in public and asked him for a shout out in a viral video on Instagram.
Rapper Meek Mill has publicly dissociated himself from fellow artist Sean Diddy, following a string of legal issues, indictments, and sexual assault lawsuits against the latter.
In a recent viral video on Instagram, Meek Mill was approached by a fan who requested a shout out.
Instead, Meek Mill used the opportunity to clarify his stance on his association with Diddy, stating “No Diddy” and emphasizing that he is no longer affiliated with him.
Facing the camera, Meek Mill said: “You already know how we are playing out, this is real life. Yeah, no Diddy gang Meek Mill in real life; don’t ever disrespect me, you heard?”
Meek Mill’s decision to create distance between himself and Diddy comes after years of collaboration and friendship.
The two rappers have worked together on several records and have been known to attend parties and events together, often matching outfits.
However, since February 2024, Meek Mill has been the subject of jokes and speculation regarding his relationship with Diddy, particularly after producer Rodney Jones’ lawsuit suggested a romantic involvement between the two.
Recall that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested in New York several weeks ago.
The arrest followed a grand jury indictment, with Combs’ lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, expressing disappointment and criticism towards the US Attorney’s Office for pursuing what he considers an unjust prosecution.
Agnifilo highlighted Sean Combs’ voluntary cooperation with the investigation and his decision to travel to New York in anticipation of the charges.
In a statement, Agnifilo described Combs as a respected figure in the music industry and a devoted philanthropist, emphasizing his client’s innocence.
