He stated that Abuja, the capital, was still a valuable resource for the nation and that its entire economy would suffer if the Federal Capital Territory was destroyed.
Minister for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, has once again urged the demonstrators opposing President Bola Tinubu’s administration to come engage in conversation. He claims that the government is prepared to hear their concerns and to explain certain aspects of governance that they may not be familiar with.
He gave a speech on Thursday while introducing the territory’s four recently appointed chiefs to the staff of office.
Wike praised the FCT demonstrators for their nonviolent actions and asked them to keep up their resistance against those who seek to ruin the country.
He stated that Abuja, the capital, was still a valuable resource for the nation and that its entire economy would suffer if the Federal Capital Territory was destroyed.
