In all that you say or do, let wisdom lead. If the truth you will write will cause trouble, it is better you silence that truth. If the truth you will write will cause division and disunity, it is better you silence that truth. I am begging my fellow youths to tread with caution henceforth.”
Isaiah Ogedegbe, a Nigerian religious figure and blogger, has advised youths in the country to be careful of what they post online, especially about Nigeria’s President-elect, Bola Tinubu.
He said: “Fellow Nigerian youths, please be careful of what you post online about Nigeria’s President-elect, Bola Tinubu. It is cheap to write anything on the internet, but the price you may have to pay for it could be costly. Please think well before you write anything, because you will be held responsible for whatever you write. I am not saying this because I support any politician; I am saying this because I care about the welfare of the Nigerian youths. Don’t die because of youthful exuberance; don’t go behind bars because of same. In all that you say or do, let wisdom lead. If the truth you will write will cause trouble, it is better you silence that truth. If the truth you will write will cause division and disunity, it is better you silence that truth. I am begging my fellow youths to tread with caution henceforth.”
