Odutola stated that the DPO, in partnership with hunters, forest guards, Vigilante, So Safe, and Amotekun, has been combing the forest and bushes to assure the rescue and safety of the two kidnapped individuals.
The Ogun State Police Command announced yesterday that hoodlums suspected of kidnapping had seized Nurat Ogundipe and a commercial motorcycle rider in Imeko, Imeko/Afon Local Government Area of the state.
Omolola Odutola, the command’s spokesperson, confirmed this in a statement issued in Abeokuta.
According to Odutola, an eyewitness reported the incidence to the Divisional Police Office of Imeko Division.
She stated that the victims were kidnapped on Monday, around 1500hrs, while returning from Ijio Iwere Ile, a town in Oyo State that shares borders with Ogun.
