Morayo Afolabi Brown, one of Nigeria’s TV hosts and the anchor of TVC’s Your View, has weighed into the conversation surrounding 2Baba’s new relationship, following his unexpected separation from Annie Idibia.
It is no longer news that the African Queen hitmaker had publicly dissociated himself from his wife of 13 years, Annie Idibia, without stating his reasons.
2Baba also recently confirmed the romance rumours with Edo state lawmaker, Natasha Irobosa Osawaru Igbinedion and has indeed declared his real intentions towards her.
He affirmed his love for her and has gone on to propose marriage as well.
In a new trending clip, TVC’s Morayo was captured passionately speaking about the situation. She emphatically stated that she does not think 2Baba should go scot-free after all that has happened.
Brown maintained that he strung Annie along, and asked at what point he fell out of love with the actress.
The media personality expressed her disappointment over the ace singer’s decision to move on with another woman after he has “damaged” Annie Idibia.
In her words:
“I don’t think 2baba should go scot free for what he has done and how he has damaged this young woman. I feel that he has led her on. Maybe it was societal pressure that caused him to stay with this young woman. He needs to tell us because the society was there when they were getting married. At what point did you say you are no more with Annie, at what point did you feel you can desert Annie. What audacity do you have to say you have fallen out of love with her?”
Annie is allegedly confined at a rehab where she is battling depression and other related illnesses.
