A spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) Senator Dino Melaye, on Monday criticised two chieftains of the main opposition, the All Progressives Congress (APC): Festus Keyamo (SAN) and Femi Fani-Kayode.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the PDP plans a protest march today (Monday) in Abuja to express their disagreement with the outcome of the 2023 presidential election which produced APC’s Bola Tinubu as president-elect.
But chieftains of the APC like Adamu Garba, Keyamo and Fani-Kayode, have berated the PDP, accusing the party of trying to destabilise Nigeria.
The APC questioned why the PDP would be in court and at the same protesting on the streets.
But responding to the jibes by Keyamo, Melaye mocked him for losing his ward in the recently-conducted presidential poll. He also taunted Fani-Kayode, saying the former Aviation Minister doesn’t even know the name of his ward chairman in Ife, Osun State.
Melaye wrote on his known Twitter page with a screengrab of a picture of President Muhammadu Buhari protesting alongside APC chieftains: “The two F’s are sick and almost expired. One lost his polling unit and the other don’t even have political or electoral base. Ask him the name of his ward in Ife or the name of his ward chairman. When last did he go home? When you both become electorally useful, then we can talk.”
