Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage has officially ended her professional relationship with longtime manager Mekka Millions, marking the conclusion of a working partnership that lasted over a decade.
The music icon made the announcement via her Instagram Story in a series of blunt messages, where she warned promoters and the public to cease all business dealings with Mekka. She made it clear that she no longer has any association with him and will not honor any bookings or agreements facilitated through him.
“I DO NOT WORK WITH MEKKA ANYMORE. Please for bookings contact Vanessa Amadi,” she stated.
“Any bookings that go through any other channel will be void, and you will lose your money,” she added.
Tiwa expressed frustration at repeated incidents where promoters ignored her previous warnings and continued to send payments to Mekka. In her latest post, she revealed that she recently received a call informing her that funds meant for a show had been paid into his personal account.
“I hate coming on social media for this, but I can’t reach every promoter individually. You people will lose your money. I will not be responsible,” she warned.
Tiwa also emphasized that even if a booking reaches her through Mekka, she will reject it outright:
“I have NOTHING TO DO WITH MEKKA. Even if it goes through him and eventually gets to me, I will refuse the booking.”
She confirmed that Vanessa Amadi, a respected UK-based publicist and PR expert, is now her official contact for all bookings and business matters moving forward.
The breakup marks a major shift in Tiwa’s career management structure. Mekka Millions took over managerial duties from her ex-husband Tee Billz more than a decade ago during her early solo days under Mavin Records. Together, they navigated her rise to global stardom, making the abrupt end all the more striking.
Though Tiwa did not elaborate on the reasons behind the fallout, her posts suggest a serious breach of trust particularly concerning financial transactions.
The announcement has sparked widespread reactions online, with many fans surprised by both the tone and timing of the split, especially considering the length of their partnership.
