Relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, also known as Blessing CEO, has revealed that her marriage ended because of repeated domestic abuse.
NOP NIGERIA reports that she shared that her ex-husband physically assaulted her multiple times, including the day before their wedding and even on the wedding day itself.
The violence reportedly occurred while she was preparing for the ceremony, with witnesses present.
In an interview with Chude, she explained that the attacks were triggered by minor disagreements, such as not packing plates, adding that it happened openly in front of her friends and chief bridesmaid.
She said: “On my wedding day they beat me to the altar. They beat me a day to the wedding and even beat me to the altar and I still married him (sic). He beat me in front of my chief bridesmaid, they are still there. When I tell this story and people say it is a lie she will just be laughing. He didn’t beat me privately, he beat me in front of my friends because I did not pack plates.”
Blessing CEO was previously married to Onyeka Lucky but the marriage ended after two years.
During the marriage, Blessing had two sons with her ex‑husband, named Darel Lucky Okoh and Bryan Dgreat.
