The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun state, Bola Oyebamiji, Thursday, assured that the former national party secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore, Senator Babajide Omoworare and other prominent leaders from Ile-Ife have pledged to work to defeat the incumbent governor, Ademola Adeleke, in the 2026 governorship election.
Oyebamiji stated this during a youth engagement programme held at the APC state secretariat in Osogbo.
Speaking through his deputy, Kayode Adereti, Oyebamiji said the party has put strategies in place to secure a “resounding victory” at the poll.
He urged youth across the state to mobilise and actively participate in ending what he described as “deceptive governance” by the Adeleke administration.
The APC candidate said youth should remain peaceful and come out in large numbers to vote during the election, adding that the APC is committed to returning the state to “a state of pride” through transparent and accountable leadership and sustainable development.
