Supporters of Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa who is gearing up to contest the 2027 governorship election in 2027, Tuesday called on the people of Zamfara state to brace up and support his governorship ambition.
The chairman, Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa’s Support Group, Alhaji Surajo Garba Maikatako, made the call in Gusau.
He stated that the announcement of his political platform is imminent, and supporters are being asked to remain patient and prayerful.
Maikatako added that Senator Marafa is expected to declare the party on whose platform he will contest soon.
“He has a clear, people-centered agenda focusing on security, education, healthcare, agriculture and infrastructure. His integrity, courage and track record sets him apart from APC,” Maikatako stated
He stated further that Senator Marafa left the APC due to broken promises, especially on insecurity.
“The movement is positioning Senator Marafa as a confident, compassionate, and capable leader who will treat all Zamfara citizens with dignity and respect,” Maikatako said.
