Businessman Blord has confirmed that he recently had an unexpected encounter with Nigeria’s former Anambra State governor and presidential hopeful, Peter Obi.
In a social media post shared on Tuesday, April 28, Blord said the meeting occurred while he was on his way to Lagos to inspect a project he described as his “Lagos Estate City of David 2.0.”
He expressed admiration for Obi, noting that he appreciated his efforts toward national development. In his words:
“On my way to Lagos to inspect the development in my Lagos Estate City of David 2.0, I bumped into His Excellency Mr Peter Obi. I appreciated his efforts for a better Nigeria. A new Nigeria is possible.”
The encounter comes at a period when Blord is also dealing with a legal dispute involving social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM).
The two were reportedly present in court on Monday, April 27, marking their first direct interaction since Blord was released after spending over 20 days in Kuje prison.
VDM had earlier filed a suit against the businessman, making allegations related to fraud and copyright infringement. The court session was said to have been tense, with exchanges between both parties.
Reports also suggest that during the proceedings, Blord and his legal team approached VDM in an attempt to ease tensions and possibly convince him to withdraw the case.
However, VDM reportedly declined, maintaining that he would not back out of the legal action. He was also said to have accused activist Omoyele Sowore of influencing events around the case, insisting that the developments only strengthened his decision to continue with the matter.
