Beneficiaries under the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT/RR) programme are beginning to see balance updates on their payments, with the structure set at ₦25,000 paid three times, making a total of ₦75,000 for those with the issued cards.
Checks show that some beneficiaries already see “Available Balance: N75,000.00” when they check their balance. However, the Rapid Response payment is not coming at once for everyone, as many others still report seeing nothing yet.
Beneficiaries are advised to keep checking their account balance regularly. As one source explained, “Some people will receive it while others may not immediately.”
There are also issues with accessing the funds, especially for those who do not know their PIN. Some beneficiaries have been trying PIN combinations based on the numbers printed on their ATM cards.
For example, if the last six digits on a card are 907643, some suggested PINs to try include 4390, 4376, 9043, or 2010.
This method has worked for some users, but beneficiaries are advised to be careful and not expose their card details while trying different options.
Nigeria Startup News reports that the CCT programme is part of the Federal Government’s social support efforts for vulnerable households, although the current payments have raised concerns due to delays and past verification issues.
