
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has appointed Deputy Corps Commander Ohaeri Osondu Joseph as the new Corps Public Education Officer (CPEO).
The corps said the appointment is a strategic move aimed at strengthening its public engagement framework, enhancing nationwide advocacy, and driving behavioural change towards safer road use.
It said the appointment underscores the Corps’ renewed commitment to reshaping public perception and intensifying its communication efforts in support of road safety objectives across Nigeria.
In statement signed by Felicia Kalu and made available to journalists in Abuja on Wednesday.
“A seasoned communications strategist and operations expert, Ohaeri brings over two decades of distinguished service to the role.
“He previously served as Media Relations Officer at the FRSC National Headquarters, Abuja, for 15 years, where he played a pivotal role in projecting the Corps’ image and amplifying its voice on critical national issues.
“His career also reflects strong operational leadership, having served as Unit Head of Operations in Keffi and Bida, and later as Assistant Corps Commander (Operations) in Kaduna Sector Command,” the statement reads in part.
