President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday received former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Details of the closed-door meeting had yet to be disclosed as of the time of filing this report.
Jonathan served as Nigeria’s president from 2010 to 2015.
He gained national recognition for conceding defeat in the 2015 presidential election to former President Muhammadu Buhari, becoming the first sitting Nigerian leader to lose a re-election bid and peacefully hand over power.
