The prestigious “Migdal Oz” kollel network,which boasts 10 vibrant branches across the country under the leadership of the Rosh Yeshiva, HaGaon Rav Yechezkel Etrog shlit”a, has marked an exceptionally successful beginning of the summer zman.
Following numerous requests, the administration made a bold decision to expand the borders of kedusha. Despite the current financial challenges, dozens of choshuve yungeleit, the “lions of the chaburah,” were accepted into the ten branches. In all locations, due to the uplifting atmosphere of milchamta shel Torah, and rischa d’Oraisa, makes the sweetness of Torah palpable. From the very start of the zman, the kol Torah has been emanating through the halls of the kolellim.
Special excitement was felt at the main branch of the ‘Migdal Oz’ kollelim in Modi’in Illit, as the great gaon Rav Shimon Herman shlit”a, a baki in nigleh and nistar, joined to serve as Rosh HaKollel. The lomdim greeted him with great enthusiasm.
At the Ma’amad Pessichas HaZman, the Rav delivered a brilliant shiur pesicha and profound divrei Mussar that left a deep impression and infused the Bais Medrash with an exalted feeling.
The appointment of such a high-level Talmid chacham is very significant for the city’s Olam HaTorah, adding a new dimension to the kollel’s spiritual heights.
In every branch, one can feel a unique, uplifting atmosphere, which exhibits the extraordinary siyata d’shmaya granted to the Migdal Oz “Kingdom of Torah.” The network continues its mission to be le’hagdil Torah u’leha’adirah, raising true talmidei chachamim who illuminate the generation with their Torah.
