The National Democratic Coalition (NDC) has criticized Senator Orji Uzor Kalu for praising President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms.
Kalu recently described the administration’s reforms as bold and necessary for Nigeria’s growth, despite the economic strain on citizens.
In a statement, the NDC said the senator’s position ignores the hardship many Nigerians are facing due to the policies.
The group said leaders should prioritize the welfare of the people and not commend reforms that have yet to ease living conditions.
The coalition called on public officials to be more sensitive to the plight of Nigerians and demand accountability on the impact of government policies.
