The meeting, held as part of Doval’s official visit to the United Arab Emirates, centred on advancing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and the UAE. Key areas of focus included energy security and broader geopolitical developments impacting the region.
During the interaction, Doval conveyed greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the UAE leadership. The Indian Embassy in the UAE said the talks covered measures to deepen strategic ties, the regional situation, and other issues of mutual interest.
According to the UAE’s state-run WAM news agency, both sides exchanged greetings and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations. Doval conveyed India’s wishes for the UAE’s continued progress, while the UAE President extended similar sentiments to India and its people.

The discussions also touched upon recent developments in West Asia and their implications for regional and global security, with energy stability remaining a key theme.
Senior Emirati officials present at the meeting included Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security.
The engagement marks the second high-level interaction between the two countries within a month. Earlier, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met the UAE President during a two-nation visit, highlighting the steady momentum in India-UAE ties despite a complex regional environment.
