
Senator Oluremi Tinubu, wife of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has distributed food items to 600 vulnerable women in Zamfara state as part of the Renewed Hope Initiative’s food outreach programme.
Speakers at the event which was held on Friday at the Zamfara State Trade Fair Complex in Gusau said the programme aimed to assist the less-privileged Nigerians.
Senator Tinubu, who was represented by the wife of the vice president, Hajiya Nana Kashim Shatima, said the initiative would be sustained across the 36 states.
The wife of Zamfara state governor, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal, praised the initiative and Senator Tinubu’s support for women and children. Over 14 Northern governors’ wives attended the event.
Other speakers acknowledged that Nigeria’s first lady has been making impacts on millions of Nigerians with her humanitarian programmes under the Renewed Hope Initiative of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government.
