The Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) has elected Salimon Oladiti as the new President of the union.
NOP NIGERIA reports that Oladiti was a former National Trustee of the union.
According to TVC News, Oladiti was elected on Friday at the union’s 6th Quadrennial Delegates Conference, currently taking place in Lagos.
A former Chairman of the Oil and Gas Supply branch, Akin Oladejo, was also elected Deputy President of the union.
