Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Yousef Bin Mohammed Al Balawi, on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike in Abuja.
During the meeting, Al Balawi commended the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration in providing modern infrastructure in the FCT to make Abuja a world-class capital city.
Receiving the envoy, Wike said Nigeria is eager to translate its long-standing and robust relationship with Saudi Arabia into tangible urban cooperation. He noted that both countries can learn from each other and work together for mutual benefit.
Wike also highlighted Saudi Arabia’s hospitable treatment of Nigerian pilgrims during Hajj as a key part of the cordial ties between both nations.
