Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has emphasized that only duly registered aspirants who have completed all required processes will be recognized ahead of party primaries in Abia State.
Kalu clarified that individuals can only be regarded as aspirants after purchasing nomination forms and successfully undergoing screening, stressing that mere declarations on social media do not confer such status.
“Make no mistakes, in APC Abia, we will follow democratic processes, whether direct primaries or consensus, to the letter and in a transparent manner,” he stated.
