Three people have lost their lives in a road accident at the Polo Roundabout in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, involved a truck that reportedly lost control and crashed, killing the driver and two other persons at the scene.
The Public Education Officer of the FRSC in the state, Peter Longsan, said the crash happened at about 2:30 am.
He attributed the accident to loss of control, warning that driving at odd hours often comes with increased risks due to poor visibility and driver fatigue.
Longsan advised motorists to ensure their vehicles are in good condition before embarking on journeys and to comply strictly with speed limits and traffic regulations.
He further cautioned against overloading and other unsafe driving practices, noting that adherence to road safety rules is essential to preventing crashes and saving lives.
