Uzodimma names Dare, others Renewed Hope directors

Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has appointed a former spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh, as one of the directors to lead the Directorates of the President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Ambassadors.

Among other names listed by Uzodimma, the Director-General and National Coordinator of the RHA, are the Chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, and former Sports Minister, Sunday Dare.

This was made known in a press statement signed by the Director, Media and Publicity of the RHA, Tunde Rahman, made available to Saturday PUNCH on Friday.

“President Bola Tinubu had in November 2025 designed the RHA as the vehicle to disseminate the activities and achievements of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the administration to every part of the country in a build-up to the 2027 election campaign,” the statement read.

Those who made the list as directors include Dr Mustapha Abdullahi, Youth; Olisa Metuh, Organisation and Mobilisation; Tunde Rahman, Media and Publicity; Sunday Dare, Digital and New Media; Mele Geidam, Finance; Muiz Banire, Monitoring, Compliance and Legal; Bisoye Coker-Odusote, Technology and Data; and Abubakar Rabiu-Abubakar, Support Groups.

Others are Ibrahim Garba, Intelligence; Senator Sani Musa, Special Duties; Simon Karu, Planning; Dr Halima Zakari, Welfare; Dr Nnamdi Mbaeri, Administration; Bilikisu Kaika, Women Affairs; Dabiri-Erewa, Diaspora; and Hadiza Bala-Usman, Research and Innovation.

“RHA has His Excellency Uba Sani, Governor of Kaduna State, as Deputy Director-General, His Excellency Mohammed Inuwa, Governor of Gombe State, as Secretary and Hon. James Abiodun Faleke as Deputy Secretary,” it added.
