The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, has said that the distributed 47 Sharon’s cars and 287 Boxer motorcycles to the Kano North Senatorial district APC local government area Chiarmen, their Secretaries and others as his President Mohammed Tinubu copied renewed hope agenda.
Speaking through the state coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda, Mallam Salihu Sagir Takai, and the Chairman of APC in Ghari LGA, who is special adviser to Senator Barau on media, Shittu Madaki, he said the cars and motorcycles should be used to ease the poverty of the beneficiaries.
He said this was not the first of his intervention on human and capital development of his Kano North Senatorial District, and would certainly not be the last.
The Chief of Staff to the Deputy President of the Senate, Professor Muhammad Bn Abdullahi, said what Senator Barau is doing was capital intensive intervention that would see to the removal of beneficiaries from poverty completely to self reliance.
“Kano North Senatorial District is blessed with the Deputy President of the Senate who kept on distributing goods that would help stimulate human development and make life easy for those who benefits from it,” he said.
He said, “That is why we are not worried with some evil machinations and calculated attacks on our Leader Senator Barau Jibrin because we are aware that those behind them are people of low integrity.”
Professor Abdullahi, appealed to those who benefited from the cars and motorcycles not to dispose them but use them in getting incomes.
