- Apostle Johnson Suleman has criticized Nigerian leaders over alleged poor performance and worsening hardship in the country.
- He says Nigerians only want basic amenities and are leaving the country due to insecurity and poor living conditions.
Popular cleric, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has criticized Nigeria’s political leadership, accusing some office holders of underperformance and prioritizing politics over governance.
Speaking on the country’s situation, Suleman expressed frustration over worsening economic hardship, insecurity, and mass migration of Nigerians seeking better living conditions abroad.
He questioned the rationale behind seeking re-election despite alleged poor performance, insisting that leadership should be judged strictly on results.
“During your first four years in office, you did nothing, and now you want Nigerians to vote for you again for a second term? Don’t vote for them. Performance is the best form of campaign. You achieved nothing, and that is why you are busy destroying opposition parties. Nigerians are really suffering. We are not asking for too much, all we need are basic amenities, affordable food items, security, and steady electricity. Thousands of people are leaving for abroad, not because they want too much wealth, but because they want safety.” The clereic said
The cleric further emphasized that Nigerians are not demanding luxury, but basic necessities such as food affordability, electricity, and improved security.

More pastors should speak up, since some Nigerian Christians only listen to what their pastors say.
