According to the new timeline, the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms will now close at midnight on Wednesday, May 6, while submission of completed forms has been extended to midnight on Thursday, May 7.
The party also fixed the screening of aspirants between Friday, May 8 and Tuesday, May 12. Names of successful candidates are expected to be published on Wednesday, May 13.
The APC said the extension is part of efforts to give more aspirants the opportunity to complete the process and participate fully in the build-up to the 2027 elections.
