“As a man, no dey mumu for woman, you must set boundaries” – Yul Edochie says as he opens up on marriage to May Edochie (Video)

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie seems finally ready for his tell-all with his estranged wife, May Edochie.

In a teaser for his interview on the Honest Bunch Podcast, he revealed that he was 22 when he married May, and that they met while they were writing the GCE at a centre.

The actor said that as a man, one mustn’t be a fool for a woman and learn to set boundaries.

“I was 22 when I got with May. As I was getting into school, we were already close. We met while we were writing the GCE; we were in the same centre.
Them no dey mumu for woman, you must set boundaries.
Mumu, like anything she does, you must take am, I love you. No, you must set boundaries”.

On Mother’s Day in March, Yul had shunned May as he celebrated his wife, Judy Austin and his mother.

Recall that Yul fell from grace to grass after his scandal with colleague, Judy Austin which wrecked his marriage to his wife of over a decade, May Edochie.

Their relationship led to Yul’s crashed marriage with his May as she filed for divorce from him, demanding N100 million from Judy, and had also filed a restraining order denying him access to their former matrimonial home, and had gotten full custody of the kids.

Yul and Judy have since started a family of their own and are blessed with three sons, Star Dikeh, Pete Ndubuisi and Universe Yul Edochie.

May’s lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, revealed that Yul doesn’t pay child support or his children’s school fees and that May takes care of their three children. He alleged that the actor told his daughter to meet her mother for her financial needs since she was making more money than he was.

Judy Austin had shed light on how she met her Yul Edochie, claiming that she met Yul years after her first marriage was dissolved in 2013.

Last year, Yul and May’s daughter, Danielle, created a stir online with her shady post celebrating her mom’s birthday. Throwing shot at Judy, she hyped her mother for being the original and the first before anyone else. Calling her the overall blessed and God’s favourite, she dared anyone to do it if it was easy.

To prove that she wasn’t in support of her father’s remarriage, Danielle had removed her father’s name from her social media profile. Danielle, who proudly used her father’s name, Danielle Yul Edochie, on her social media profiles, had edited her name to be Danielle Diana Dubem.

Yul had also cut ties with her as he unfollowed her on Instagram, and had stopped commenting on her Instagram posts.
