Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, , just sent social media into nostalgia mode after sharing elegant throwback photos from her pageant days.
Long before diplomacy and politics, Bianca wore the crown as 1989 and went on to represent the country on the global stage at the pageant held in Cancun, Mexico.
Posting rare photos from her time at the glamorous competition, she reminisced about bonding with Miss Greenland at the Fiesta Americana Condesa in Cancun. According to her, she learned fascinating facts about Greenland — from the absence of traffic lights at the time to the country’s rugged terrain filled with fjords and massive icebergs. She even noted that the iceberg believed to have sunk the was said to have originated from Greenland.
Bianca also reflected on the evolution of the Miss Universe organization, revealing that former U.S. President once owned the pageant franchise for nearly two decades before selling it in 2015.
Describing life as “full circle,” the former beauty queen turned diplomat showed that her journey from runway to global politics has indeed been remarkable.
