EPL: Elumelu, Keyamo, Davido, others react to Arsenal’s triumph

Arsenal F.C. have officially been crowned the champions of the 2025/26 English Premier League, ending the club’s 22-year wait for the title.

Mikel Arteta’s side secured the championship on Tuesday night after Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth.

The result leaves Arsenal four points clear at the top with only one match remaining.

The title triumph marks Arsenal’s first Premier League success since Arsène Wenger’s legendary “Invincibles” side completed the 2003/04 season unbeaten.

Arsenal moved to the brink of the title after defeating Burnley 1-0 on Monday before City’s failure to win officially confirmed the Gunners as champions.

The achievement represents a major breakthrough for Arteta, who has now delivered his second major trophy as Arsenal manager following the 2020 FA Cup success.

It also ends years of frustration for the North London club after three consecutive runner-up finishes behind Manchester City and Liverpool in recent seasons.
