UK-based media personality Radiogad has reacted to the backlash trailing Cubana Chief Priest’s controversial “cemetery chilling” remark, urging Afrobeats star Davido to be cautious about the people around him.
The comment emerged after a video surfaced online showing Cubana Chief Priest with Davido and other associates shortly after attending the burial of Davido’s late friend, Tiny, in the United Kingdom. In the clip, the socialite was heard saying, “Yeah man, we’re outside, cemetery chilling,” a statement that quickly sparked criticism on social media.
Sharing his thoughts on the matter, Radiogad issued a direct warning to the singer.
“Davido, avoid this guy. He will stain your white,” Radiogad said while reacting to the viral video.
According to the broadcaster, comments and actions made by close associates can sometimes create unnecessary controversies for public figures. He suggested that Davido should be mindful of the people within his circle to avoid situations that could attract negative attention.
The video has continued to generate mixed reactions online, with many social media users describing Cubana Chief Priest’s statement as insensitive considering the solemn nature of the occasion. Others, however, argued that the remark may have been intended as a joke but was poorly timed.
Radiogad’s reaction has further fueled the conversation, as fans continue to debate whether Cubana Chief Priest’s comment was inappropriate or simply misunderstood.
